Hello my beauties,
I’m back from a full on trip to London- this country gal found it all a little overwhelming and my womb as usual decided to join in with an early bleed… thanks womb!! On my return I’ve been putting in a lot of self care practices and pondering our cyclic ebb and flow and how it can be listened to even when we are in a busy situation. While I was away it came back to the 1%, what 1% can I do for myself today?
Here’s me and my daughter going on the Hogwarts Express!
And I came back home to a load of news about the Period.End of Sentence film winning an Oscar (showing on Netflix), the 100 Vaginas documentary (on Channel 4 in the UK) and that the government will be rolling out menstrual education in schools…finally!! (see the catch up on all of the news on my Instagram!)
You can Pre-order your copy now…fingers crossed it will be released officially on Spring Equinox…
Why does Mummy Bleed? A beautifully illustrated book aimed at children, age 2 upwards, to explain about why mummy has periods and how they can support mummy with her cycle. Introducing cycle awareness, self care in a gentle story and picture book.

My latest musings about acceptance and surrender … particularly relevant to those of us with challenges happening- whether it’s perimenopause, cycle issues, health problems…a bit of acceptance goes a long way.
