Step into Spring…Moon Times Newsletter

Sunny Greetings Sisters!

It has been a glorious few days over Easter here in the wilds of West Wales, we’ve had a lovely time hunting eggs and being out on the land.  I wonder how your holidays have been?

First and foremost I want to say a huge thankyou to all those who took part in the Red Tent Auction.  It made approximately £1200 so far and money is still coming in! It was a massive project to put together, but it was so well supported and received, a beautiful example of women pulling together in community.  If you would like to donate even just a few pounds you can do so at the Red Tent GoFundMe page, there is still a little way to go to achieve our total goal but I know we can make it.

Birth Your Own Drum

May 30th….I’ve extended the booking deadline to April the 13th, so if you fancy making your own drum (for the same price as buying one!) do email me for a booking form. Workshop info can be found here.

Our Make Your Own Pad Kit is now available with organic, patterned fabric!  There are six different designs to choose from, all you need is a sewing machine and a little time.
Have you seen our Love Zimbabwe Pads? These pads have been specially made for Moon Times by a group of women in Zimbabwe who are getting paid a fair wage for making them.  My friend Samara traveled there at the start of the year and helped them get the sewing machines set up and going.  Menstruation is still a big taboo there and we hope that this work will help these women to a better future.
I seem to have had a lot of messages asking me about cycle charting recently and the first resources I point them to are my Moon Times Cycle Charting Journal and  Moon Cycle Malas.  Cycle charting is not just about fertility, understanding your monthly rhythm has an effect on your overall health and well-being as a woman, I can’t recommend it enough!  Used in combination the journal and the mala will give you a really good insight into your personal rhythms.
As always do be in touch if you have any questions or come and join our Facebook group – Ask Aunt Flo, where you’ll find a friendly, supportive circle of women who can offer you a range of experience and advice.
I hope you’ve got some sunshine wherever you are.
With love
