and thought I wish I were a man . I have also told pepole, If we have more than one life, I am coming back as a man . Still I fight to keep the very body part that I feel is trying to kill me every 26 days. I feel so trapped. The bleeding makes it hard for me to hold a job, etc. Fear of surgery, anesthesia and instant menopause seem to be worse than the threat of to much blood loss. I know ripping something out doesn't put one in balance and feel that a problem would show up elsewhere. So much more that you spoke of ie pshycic abilities etc. that I have experienced. It gives me hope that there is a purposes to all that I have been through, beside just child bearing, which did not happen for me. I hope to come to the point of finding the joy in being a woman and seeing menses as a blessing instead of a curse. Not sure why I was crying while I typed this, maybe I feel like I am writing to someone with compassion. Someone who won't say, Why don't you just get it all ripped out or You chose to have that problem, you could have that taken care with a simple surgery . Thank you for listening.[]Alexandra Reply:July 19th, 2010 at 2:41 pmDonnaI am shocked to read what you have had to endure. And impressed that you have held on to uterus in spite of all that suffering. I do think Chinese Medicine is one of the best approaches for dealing with your kind of condition but you do have to be patient. And yes yes time to really get in touch with the power of your cycle and yourself as a woman! Do email me for a menstrual cycle kit for charting. And I want to recommend something called the Deer Exercise. it takes about 5 -7 mins to do each day and worth doing twice a day in your case. Keep this up for a few months. It's very effective for all menstrual problems but particular can reduce bleeding. We describe the exercise in our book The Pill; are you sure it's for you? on page 228. Also look in to Maya abdominal massage.Do let me know how you go, it can be a guide for other women.[]Sandy Reply:July 26th, 2010 at 8:37 pmDonna, Alexandra has chosen your comment as her favourite:Donna Moulton for having the courage to hang on to her uterus in the face of staggering symptoms and having the revelation of how she has rejected herself as a woman, and that transforming this could be the beginning of something important. I thought because her situation was so extreme she would benefit too from having all the interviews.I'll drop you an email with details Thank you so much for your interest in the series []
